What did you study in undergrad? Spanish Language and Literature (University of Mass, Lowell) Grad school? Higher Education Administration (Northeastern University)

What was your favorite experience as an undergrad? It was exciting to co-host the weekly radio show “Cafe Latino” in Spanish at UMASS Lowell.

What are your interests/hobbies? I love theatre and operas, going for long walks and enjoy watching and reading murder mysteries. Thrifting with my family is a regular event on weekends as well as watching NFL football games.

What is your favorite thing about MIT? MIT students continue to amaze me and have made me smile for over 20 years now. The energy that they bring to the Infinite Corridor on any given day is palpable.

What advice do you have for MIT students? Don’t lose your confidence because other students got higher grades on an exam or finished a p-set faster than you. When you graduate, you and the rest of the world will fully realize how intelligent and talented you are.

Fun fact? I survived a category 5 hurricane while vacationing in St. Marteen.
