Supporting First-Generation, Low-Income (FLI) Students at MIT: A Workshop for Faculty Advisors

Join us for an engaging workshop hosted by MIT’s First-Generation, Low-Income (FLI) Program, designed to equip faculty advisors with the knowledge and tools to better support FLI students. Associate Dean Sade Abraham and Assistant Dean Alex Hoyt will lead a conversation that explores the unique challenges FLI students may face, while highlighting their strengths, resilience, and the powerful contributions they bring to the academic community.

This is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and connect with colleagues committed to student equity and inclusion.
