Campus Preview Weekend: Welcoming the Class of 2029!

Last weekend, MIT’s campus was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed the incoming Class of 2029 for Campus Preview Weekend (CPW). This annual tradition gives prospective first-years a chance to experience life at the Institute, meet future classmates, and explore all that MIT has to offer.

One of CPW’s highlights was the Academic Expo on Friday, where students could connect with academic departments, explore potential majors, and ask questions about their academic journey. The Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC) was proud to be part of the event, chatting with hundreds of incoming students about Orientation and FPOPs, transfer and AP credit, First-Generation/Low-Income (FLI) support, and what it’s really like to be a student at MIT.

We loved the energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm of the Class of 2029, and we’re looking forward to seeing them back on campus for Orientation in August!
