What did you study in undergrad? Elementary Education & Math (University of Montana) Grad school? Higher Education – Student Affairs & International Higher Education (Boston College)

What was your favorite experience as an undergrad? Studying abroad in Bulgaria via the Gilman Scholarship! It broadened my horizons and opened me up to international experiences.

What are your interests/hobbies? I love to be outside! Including hiking, camping and skiing. I also love to play guitar and do crafts including embroidery and try new restaurants around Boston.

What is your favorite thing about MIT? MIT faculty and staff care deeply for students and it shows! Folks here want to help you succeed! I also love that my colleagues and I find the fun in work – we are constantly laughing.

What advice do you have for MIT students? There is SO much to do at MIT, but try to prioritize and take advantage of as many things as possible. There are very few other times in your life where you can go to lectures, performances, and participate in activities for free or very inexpensively.

Fun fact? I have spent a lot of time in Eastern Europe and even lived in Hungary! My favorite places to travel in Eastern Europe are Slovenia, Montenegro, and Croatia. I also love to go back to my home state of Montana.
