Rewards & Recognition: AA Points
The UAC appreciates everything that you do to improve the first-year experience and gives you the opportunity to earn AA Points throughout the academic year. Whether it’s a helpful advising tip, a memorable anecdote, photos with your advisees, or a shoutout to a fellow AA, your contributions strengthen our community. Here are some examples on how you can earn AA Points:
- Host Weekly Hub or other program
- Participate in an AA training
- Complete a survey
- Submit photo of advising activity (be sure to get consent before sharing)
- Share an idea to improve advising
Submissions should be entered using this Qualtrics form. Once you’ve earned 5 Points, you are eligible for a reward – Tech Cash, Coop merchandise, swag, and more! There is not limit to the amount of points you can earn during the academic year.

The Academics Directory is separated into GIRs, majors, minors, and concentration. Recommendations are included to guide registration meetings or to help advisees. This resource is not a tutoring tool.
Academic DirectoryThe Opportunities Directory is separated into UROP, MISTI, and student organizations. It is intended to provide you with ideas to help your advisees explore MIT’s opportunities.
