This townhall meeting is intended for first-year students at MIT and will provide practical advice about how to select, prepare for and thrive in their major. Faculty and current students from MIT majors at the intersection of engineering and life science and medicine (Courses 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, and 20) will give interactive introductions to their departments; they will cover aptitudes of typical students, culture, class offerings and roadmaps, and unique opportunities. Ample time will be reserved for Q&A with first-years. See you there!
